MASC
Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that has been in existence for more than 25 years. Our vision is to celebrate multiracial identity in a racially inclusive world. Multiracial Americans mission is to advocate for and foster multiracial identity. With this vision and mission in mind. MASC creates activities and designs programs to serve the community and increase awareness and understanding amongst the public about multiracial / multiethnic issues.

CRITICAL MIXED RACE STUDIES
Critical Mixed Race Studies (CMRS) Association is a collective of scholars, artists, community activists, clinicians, and students whose work analyzes and critiques social, cultural, and political institutions based on dominant conceptions of race. CMRS emphasizes the fluidity of race and other intersecting identities to critique processes of racialization and social stratification. CMRS works to undo local and global systemic injustice rooted in systems of racism and white supremacy through scholarship, teaching, advocacy, the arts, activism, and other forms of social justice work.

PROJECT RACE
Project RACE advocates for multiracial children, multiracial adults, and their families primarily through multiracial education and community awareness. We are committed to the appropriate inclusion of multiracial people on any forms that require racial identification. We support policies that make a positive impact on people of multiracial heritage at local, state, and national levels.
MIDWEST MIXED
Mission
We use dialogue, alternative education, & artistic expression to support mixed people & transracial adoptees of color to learn trough an intersectional framework, heal racial trauma, and build community solidarity in the struggle for equity and justice.
Vision
We envision a world free from oppressive social constructs, in which we draw on the healing powers of knowing our past, grounding into our present, and cultivating a just future for our descendants.
Our Work Centers
Black, Indigenous & POC of all skin tones and across the gender and sexuality spectrum who identify as or connect to the experiences of being mixed-race, multiracial, biracial, multiethnic, or as transracial and/or transnational adoptees. We also hold space for interracial couples and multiracial/mixed families.
EMBRACE RACE
Our Story
There is a growing body of research and evidence that makes clear that children’s racial sensibilities begin to form in infancy, that almost all children develop racial and other biases by kindergarten, and that those biases become fairly entrenched by adolescence. And yet, most national organizations dedicated to children’s racial learning direct their resources mainly to middle and high school educators. There are too few resources for young children available for parents, grandparents or other caregivers or for early childhood educators.
MANY ETHNICITIES
Founded by Dr. Ena Hennegan, Many Ethnicities offers hair care products for multi-textured hair. As a biracial woman, Dr. Hennegan had her own challenges styling her hair. When she had her three daughters, each with different hair textures and/or hair type, the concept to find a solution was borne. Many Ethnicities is the first line of premium, natural-ingredient hair products designed specifically for people with multi-textured hair. It is through Many Ethnicities products that Dr. Ena combines her love for helping and caring for people with her passion for finding solutions to the unique personal care challenges faced by millions of people like her and her daughters each day.
CODE SWITCH
We're a multi-racial, multi-generational team of NPR journalists fascinated by the overlapping themes of race, ethnicity and culture, how they play out in our lives and communities, and how all of this is shifting. Our work appears on-air and online, across NPR's shows, and on the weekly Code Switch podcast.
In linguistics, "code-switching" means mixing languages or patterns of speech in conversation. We're looking at code-switching a little more broadly. Many of us subtly, reflexively change the way we express ourselves all the time. We're hop-scotching between different cultural and linguistic spaces and different parts of our own identities — sometimes within a single interaction.
We decided to call this team Code Switch because much of what we'll be exploring are the different spaces we each inhabit and the tensions of trying to navigate between them. In one sense, code-switching is about dialogue that spans cultures. It evokes the conversation we want to have here."
JEWISH MULTIRACIAL NETWORK
The Jewish Multiracial Network sets out to nurture and enhance Jewish diversity throughout the community, at large, via capacity development, community development, community empowerment, and social capital.
CRITICAL MIXED RACE STUDIES
Critical Mixed Race Studies (CMRS) is a biennial conference, field of study, and scholarly and activist community in partnership with Mixed Roots Stories, a non-profit organization that advocates for mixed race storytelling and brings art and cultural programming to the conference. The CMRS conference draws over 500 multiracial scholars, artists, students, activists, clinicians, community organizations and advocates from all over the world. The CMRS conference was the first, and remains one of the only, counterspaces for those interested in critically exploring constructions of race through a multiracial lens.
THE BLENDED FUTURE PROJECT
The Blended Future Project is an online media company that empowers the Mixed Experience with stories about culture, people and perspective.
We are dismantling the story of race. The idea that one person was superior than another based upon the color of their skin. This social construct was used as means to categorize, distract and disenfranchise the many in order to build the wealth and power of the few.
A lie that still perpetuates every aspect of American society and blinds us from seeing the humanity of each other. It’s no surprise then, that there’s been an continual and violent backlash against those who branded as “mixing among races”. Because it would reveal the truth – that we’re not so different after all.
It was with these thoughts in mind that The Blended Future Project began.

BFN is a nonprofit organization based in Chicago, founded in 1980, and is one of the oldest nonprofit multi-ethnic family support organizations in the USA.
